Stability: Under normal conditions, PEG is stable, but can react with oxygen in the air at high temperatures. In an inert atmosphere, such as nitrogen and carbon dioxide, even if heated to 200-240 ℃, there will be no change, but thermal cracking will occur when the temperature rises to 300 ℃.
